This is the layout of Berlin maps.
Maps 2a and 2b are overlapping West and East Central Berlin, respectively. These maps include the region between the Brandenburger Tor (Brandenburg Gate) on the west to Spandauer Straße on the east, and include historical Berlin.
Map 3 is of Freie Universität in Berlin-Dahlem, which includes the historic Kaiser Wilhelm Institute, where the discovery of the splitting of the atom (uranium) was made.
Map 4 includes the Berlin-Charlottenburg area, in which the Siemens manufactory (tantalum) and Bundesanstalt (rhenium) are located.
Outside these specialized maps are included:
Hauptbahnhof (main train station), Europaplatz 1, newly opened in 2006 - N52 31.50 E13 22.16.
Ostbahnhof (East train station), a convenient and less congested train station from which to explore Old Berlin, Am Ostbahnhof, N52 30.61 E13 26.10.
Natural History Museum (Museum für Naturkunde), with many excellent exhibits directly pertaining to elemental discoveries in Berlin, Invalidenstraße 43 - N52 31.79 E13 22.78.
