Directions:

An overview of the Freiberg area, a famous and important center for development of mining and chemistry, and where germanium and indium were discovered. The central sites are the RR Station; the Bergakademie (the Mining Academy), where the laboratory work was done; and the Himmelfürst Mine, where minerals were procured for the elemental discoveries.
