The Karlsruhe Mine (sometimes known as the Halvorsrød Mine) is probably the original source of the cleveite from which helium was isolated. This mine is no longer accessible. Its location (N59 21.57 E10 51.88) is just north of Rådehallen, a multi-purpose community hall.
This site is a 30-minute walk from the train station.
