Here is a textbook by Wöhler. The label says: "Frederich Wöhler (1800-1882). Professor of Chemistry at Berlin, Kassel, and Göttingen. Accomplishments: calcium carbide, phosphorus, silicon, organic compounds; preparation of elemental alumium, yttrium, and beryllium." [It is now believed that elemental yttrium was not prepared, but instead a crude preparation of beryllium, which was present in his original sample of gadolinite].
