This hotel, with spa facilities in the basement, has catered heavily to patrons of East Europe since World War II. The radon baths, supplied with the radioactive water from the Svornost mine, are offered as a therapeutic treatment for sore and tired bodies, but particularly for cancer patients. The Czech name for Radium Palace is "Radium Palác."
