Previous | Home | Next"Radon baths" -- and they mean it! The beginning of the spas was in 1864 when miners dug half a kilometer deep in the Svornost mine and found a source of spring water. Starting in 1906 a few private baths taking advantage of the spring water, and in 1912 the Radium Palace was built. Thousands of VIPs have taken advantage of the spa facilities over the years. The baths are in the Suterén (basement).
