DIED OCT 31ST 1815
AGED 83 YEARS.
Information received from Dr. Usselman tells us that on the slab has been inscribed the following, mostly now obliterated:
"In a vault underneath....to receive...of the family of Francis and Althea Wollaston are deposited the remains of ...[Henry Hyde,
6th son] ...[Sophie Hyde, 9th daughter]...also William Hyde Wollaston, third son he was born Aug.6 1766 and died Dec.22 1828....[and 5 other daughters]"
According to church records, Francis and Althea, as well as ten of their children, are buried in the vault.
