Previous | Home | NextIn the heart of the woolmaking industry, and since this was prior to the Age of Industrialization, the "home cottage" industry was the prevalent method of wool-weaving: buyers would bring raw wool to the home for preparation into finished product, then would collect the household manufactured goods for distribution to market. Notice the plaque above the door (see next photo).
