Previous | Home | NextToday the city square appears like this. The statue is of The Duke of Wales 1330-1376. The statue was erected in 1903, produced by John Brock (1847-1922). Other works of his include the Imperial Monument to Queen Victoria by Buckingham Palace. The view is west. Notice the plaque at the base (see next photo).
