Previous | Home | NextThe authors are posing with Alan Turner (back), recently deceased, former President of the Royal Arsenal Woolwich Historical Society, at his home in Sevenoaks, Kent, in 2001. In spite of his illness, Mr. Turner extended the courtesy of visiting with the authors, furnishing much important information for the Rediscovery project, and arranging a visit to Woolwich even though it was under development and was closed. In his 2006 obituary he was praised as "a stalwart of the fight to preserve memories of the Arsenal."
