Here is a closer Turgot view of the Bastille-Petit Arsenal area. One gained entrance to Lavoisier's laboratory by passing up Rue de la Cerisaie (right side of photo), then turning right to the buildings beyond the courtyard. His laboratory was on the upper floor. The building was destroyed in a fire in 1871.
