Previous | Home | NextThe building not only housed the mint, but also the first École des mines (1783-1790) and served as the Chair of mineralogy and metallurgy 1778-1790. In 1794 the École des mines was moved to Rue de la Université (LINK: ParisC606-turgot mouchy} where chromium and beryllium were discovered.
