This is the north side of Sète. The previous salt marshes immediate to the village of Sète have been drained and are now occupied by a system of navigational canals. Sète has grown to a thriving recreational seaport village. The view is southwest toward the hill (right part of photo) called "Le Site des Pierres Blanches" ("Site of the white rocks").
