Previous | Home | NextOur trip to Hannover is highlighted by a visit to TUI (Touristik Union International), a prominent European tourist firm, which developed from Preussag AG (Preußische Bergwerks- und Hütten-Aktiengesellschaft = Prussian Mine and Foundry Company), a mining concern that dates from 1923. With its interests in mining products, Preussag amassed an interesting coin collection which was passed on to this Hannover TUI office, which is 5 km east of the center of Hannover.
