"Pferdegöpel" translates as "horse-gin," a mill that uses a horse as a power source for milling or pulling a winch. In mines it was used as a horse whim, a hoist for people and buckets of ore in a mine shaft. The "Bergbaulehrpfad" (lower sign) advertise the path that leads to the historic mines which furnished the original uranium ore (see below).
