Previous | Home | NextThe Kartäuser Kloister (monastery) was built in 1380. It was abandoned in 1525 during the Reformation, to be used for other functions. It was then taken over in 1852 by the Germanisches Nationalmuseum. Thus, the cloisters inside of the museum is a good representation of the buildings during Paracelsus' time.
