Previous | Home | NextThis is the Chiesa di San Domenico (Church of St. Dominic), facing eastward at Via degli Spandri (official address Piazza Sacrati 10, the street on the south side of the church). This church was the center of the original University of Ferrara dating to over 700 years ago. Paracelsus studied and gained his medical degree here at this campus. The view is north, Via degli Spandri extending to the right, Piazza Sacrati extending to the left.
