Continuing eastward, one arrives at Via Savonarola, named for Girolamo Savonarola, a Dominican priest and leader who crusaded against corruption and who was executed in Florence: "In this family home lived the first 20 years Friar Girolamo Savonarola.
Born in Ferrara in 27 de September 1452. Burned in Florence on May 23, 1498.
