Also on the outside wall of the institute are plaques (not shown) posted in honor of A. M. Butlerov, V. V. Markovnikov, N. N. Zinin, A. M. Zaitsev, F. M. Flavitsky, A. E. Arbuzov, and B. A. Arbuzov. Organic chemists will immediately recognize the second name as the eponym of normal electrophilic addition.
