2. The Hermitage (south of mint), on the south shore of the Neva.
3. Lomonosov statue (southernmost arrow) on south terminus of Mendeleevskaya Lin. where it joins Universitetskaya Nab.
4. Mendeleev's Museum on Mendeleevskaya Liniy (north of Lomonosov statue), where he had his office and home when he formulated the Periodic Table.
5. Mendeleev's home 1890-1892 (westernmost arrow) at the Cadet Corps, S"ezdovskaya Lin., where he lived briefly after he left the University. The Cadet Corps opened onto Tuchkov Per. and Kubanskiy Per. (Kubanskiy is the very short alley, not identified, connecting S"ezdovskaya Lin. and Tuchkov Per).
