Inside the cathedral. Maria Theresa of Austria was crowned Queen in 1741. She strengthened Austria and the Habsburg Monarchy, promoting many social reforms. One of her children was Marie Antoinette (1755-1793), who became the wife of Louis XVI of France and was guillotined during the French Revolution in 1793.
