Dr. Ellison Taylor has been interested in preserving the legacy of ORNL since its inception. Sadly he passed away in 2008; he left his letters and other archives to preserve his participation in the history of ORNL. In this photo taken in 2002, Dr. Ellison holds the original internal memorandum describing the isolation of promethium (see next photo).
