All of these classic specimens may be purchased. Although the authors have personally collected specimens from original mines, frequently specimens are not available today, owing to mine closures and/or veins having played out decades ago. After ten years of intense search, the authors have been able to locate specimens from each of the original mine sites where the elements have been discovered.
