Sniadeckis (Sniadecki) was a biologist, a medical man, and a specialist in chemistry and physiology; this was the person who "discovered vestium" Andrew (or Jedrzej) is not to be confused with his brother Jan Sniadecki, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher, who became Rector of Vilnius University). Frankas (Frank) founded the Medical Society and created the museum of anatomy and pathology.
