Previous | Home | NextThis specimen is typical of the bountiful supply of collectible minerals scattered about the countryside of Bell's Grove. Notice the gradation of layers as one progresses from silicates to carbonates, and calcium to strontium to barium. This gradation was produced during the cooling of hydrothermal solutions of the minerals in volcanic vents.
